FAQS

What are your lead times?
We design and make each piece to your specifications so our typical lead time is 7-10 days after payment. This doesn't include transit time, but we're usually able to include that in the lead time (within Central London). If you have a specific deadline yourself, talk to us before purchasing so we can advise and confirm whether we're able to meet that deadline. We'll always do what we can to work with your dates, but we can't guarantee without consultation first.
What kind of timber do you use?
We source timber from our local timberyards and we also use reclaimed scaffold boards and other reclaimed timber from timber yards. The timber is then sanded over and over to make a nice smooth usable piece of wood that still holds the reclaimed feel to it. Each piece will have individual wear and tear marks that add to the nature of the look of the furniture.
How is the wood finished ?
The wood is stained to the clients colour choice which is chosen at checkout. The timber is then vanished to add an extra seal to protect the wood further. We always try to get as close to the colour that is shown in the picture but due to different wood colouring, shades may slightly differ but only by a little. Again this is the nature of the timber
What maintenance and care is needed for the timber?
We finish all pieces with varnish and clear briwax as part of the build finish process, but you can also help extend the life of your furniture. We recommend periodic waxing with a cloth and clear briwax. Depending on what the piece is used for and how regularly, this nay be done every few months or more often.
Does the furniture come assembled and if not how do I assemble it ?
If based in London we can usually deliver the furniture as a whole piece with minimal assembly. For outside London most pieces will be flat packed as this is the easiest and most cost effective way of sending. When delivered flat packed, the furniture is very easy to fit together with an Allen key which is provided along with instructions. For certain pieces they will need to come already assembled as it is too difficult to deliver flat packed. This can be more expensive but pricing will be discussed before final order is placed. Please be aware that before you purchase an item, that these are large items and that delivery prices reflect this. We always try and find the most cost-effective for you.
Please read our terms and conditions carefully for more information and before placing an order.
